Bigger Bombshells from former CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson
In snippets published in the New York Post from the soon to be released book “Stonewalled“, veteran journalist Sharyl Attkisson tells that not only did Obama agencies hack into her computer, they planted top-secret classified documents onto her hard drive in an apparent effort to set the journalist up for espionage charges.
That Attkisson’s system was hacked has been a long known fact, and was confirmed by CBS News back in August of 2013. According to the new Post report, Attkisson’s computer experts determined that the intrusion into her computer system initially took place in February of 2012 through an “innocuous email”. Attkisson was working at the time for the CBS News division on a series of reports that if aired, would portray the Obama administration in an unfavorable light.
“The intruders discovered my Skype account handle, stole the password, activated the audio, and made heavy use of it, presumably as a listening tool,” Atkisson writes in “Stonewalled” (NY Post)
According to her technology expert, the Federal intelligence agency that was responsible used “proprietary” government spyware to plant the incriminating top-secret documents, with spyware originating either from the CIA, FBI, DIA, or NSA.
Attkisson is clearly alleging that not only did a Federal agency tap into her digital drives to snoop on unpublished material, the intrusion went much further, giving Feds the ability to use her computer as a ‘wiretap’ device, allowing them to eavesdrop on all conversations whenever Ms. Attkisson had her laptop connected to the internet. The surreptitious placement of secret, classified documents on her computer in possible preparation to charge the journalist with espionage, are allegations that must be answered by Obama administration officials.
It should be noted that Attkisson is a well-respected, highly venerated reporter with long tenures at both CBS and CNN.
